Theatre Arts Studies: Design & Tech

In Theatre Design and Technology students hone their craft through a hands-on education. Students in our program are responsible for the design and realization of all elements of live theatrical performance.  We place an emphasis on learning by doing and provide students the opportunity to develop professional level skills through class work, design positions, technical assignments, and employment in the technical shops.

Faculty-artists and staff teach the foundation of technical theatre and design to theatre makers and educators, as well as providing the advanced level training needed by students looking forward to a professional career as theatre technicians and designers.
