Video Production & Editing Internship – Main Street Art (Alpine, UT)

About Us:Main Street Art is an art studio, gallery, and bronze foundry in Alpine, Utah, working with hundreds of local and national artists. We are currently seeking interns with a focus on video production and editing to assist in the creation of a series of small art history videos. These videos will highlight the philosophies and history of Utah artists, with a current focus on companion content for the upcoming book release of Dennis Smith, a renowned BYU alumnus.

Internship Overview:This internship is an exciting opportunity for students interested in film, media arts, or documentary production. Interns will gain hands-on experience in filming, editing, and producing high-quality video content while working directly with industry professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in filming and editing short-form art history videos.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop engaging visual storytelling.
  • Work with artists and industry professionals to capture meaningful content.
  • Ensure high-quality production that aligns with our artistic vision.
  • Manage media files and post-production workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a relevant degree program (Theater, Media Arts, Film, Communications, etc.).
  • Experience with video production and editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software).
  • Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team.
  • Passion for art, film, and history is a plus.
