Remote Media Internship
Nursing and Midwifery Development Foundation

Make a difference with your creative talent!

About Us:
The Nursing and Midwifery Development Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the nursing and midwifery workforce in conflict- and crisis-affected areas. We empower healthcare professionals to improve patient care and raise professional standards worldwide through continuing education, operational support, and advocacy.

Opportunity:
We’re on a mission to share the life-saving work happening in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and we need your storytelling skills to make it happen.
In April 2025, we are sending a film crew to Erbil, Kurdistan, to capture the powerful stories of local nurses and midwives who are transforming healthcare. With your help, we’ll bring these stories to life through engaging video content to inspire an American audience and attract supporters.
This is more than an internship. It’s a chance to use your creative skills to make a real difference.

Project:
With generous support from Latter-day Saint Charities, we’ve built a 10,000 sq meter training facility – the Nursing and Midwifery Development Centre – the first of its kind in the region. Opened in January 2024, the Centre provides essential medical training to local nurses, midwives, and security professionals, equipping them to save lives and improve healthcare outcomes.
Your work will help us tell this story to the world.
