It’s the big anniversary year – Jane Austen (born December 16, 1775) celebrates 250 years of brilliance.
The Jane Austen Society of North America presents the first short film contest centered around Jane Austen!
--We accept short films of five minutes or less
--Themes:
1. Austen, Annotated: Jane Austen’s Literary, Political, and Cultural Origins
OR
2. The novels, the characters, the Regency Period, JA movie adaptations, JA’s life
--First prize: $600; Second prize: $300; Third prize: $200
--Deadline: June 24, 2025
