Description
The College of Family, Home, and Social Sciences is hiring collaborative content creators with experience in video production and photography. We are looking for women and men who value learning and being part of a team.
We offer flexible hours and an excellent atmosphere where employees can meet and network with other creative individuals. Best of all, you’ll gain experience in video and photography production and editing.
We are actively seeking applications from people of all backgrounds.
Qualifications
◦ Team player – willing to help other team members, collaborate effectively with a talented team
◦ Solid customer service and follow-up
◦ Must have regular and consistent attendance at scheduled shift.
◦ Must be willing to work some evening events.
Working knowledge of:
◦ Basic video and photography composition
◦ Basic lighting techniques
◦ Basic photo and video editing
◦ Basic production workflow
Preferred Qualifications (we’re open to any combination of the following)
◦ Ability to take initiative and produce results
◦ Interest in suggesting and implementing practical solutions/actions to challenges
◦ Confidence managing projects (liaising with clients, leading other students) from ideation to delivery
◦ Proficiency recording audio using ZOOM recorders, lav mics, or other systems
◦ Comfortable using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and/or Lightroom, and other Adobe Creative Suite (like After Effects)
◦ Knowledge of video codecs and compression techniques
◦ DSLR and or video camera work to shoot video
◦ Familiarity with animation principles and software
◦ Experience creating motion graphics
