Tour Videographer/Photographer & Social Media Specialist
Job Description:
The Media Specialist is an adept photographer and videographer responsible for visually narrating the mission, values, and the inspiring stories of students. They will work closely with artist managers to produce high-quality, compelling video, photo, and print content to be used in advertising for shows, document the experiences of students on tour, and assist the performing arts groups in all media needs. Strong photography and videography experience is required.
Qualifications:
Advanced Videographer and Photographer: Conceptualize, plan, shoot, and edit engaging photo and video content of performers to create content that aligns with the mission of PAM. Personally owned professional equipment is strongly preferred.
Editing Proficiency: Edit and enhance raw footage and photos in professional programs (Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, etc.) to produce polished materials.
Collaborative: Work with artist managers and performing ensembles¿ social media teams to plan and execute images and videos to be used in conjunction with social media, sales, and marketing. Be willing to incorporate and adapt to feedback.
Visual Storytelling: Capture and effectively communicate the stories, impact, and experiences of performers.
Maintain a high rate of image and video production while maintaining high-quality standards. Work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Available to travel domestically and internationally as needed for performance tours during Spring Term 2024.
Must have a current passport valid through 11/30/2024.
Will work 15-20 hours per week before and after tour, up to 40 hours per week on tour.
