“The Here After” Short Film Casting Call (4 Roles)

Auditions will be April 8, and 12.

Pozole is a short film set in Casper, Wyoming that follows two missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as they attempt to navigate the complexities, awkwardness, and tension that often crop up in companionships. The film will explore the relationship between these two people who do not like each other as they try to feign any semblance of love with what little energy they have. Dialogue heavy and character driven, the story will rely on the subtle hints of trust and love between these two people as their relationship evolves over the course of a day.

Here at UVU, it is really important to us that our students gain real life experiences in their craft. This year, Sundance Summer Theatre, in partnership with UVU, is producing Newsies.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking professional-quality actors to fill 21 core cast roles in the summer 2024 Nauvoo and British Pageants. The pageants will be performed outdoors on alternating nights in Nauvoo. The core cast will perform both shows. Men’s and women’s roles range in age from late teens to mid-60s.
