Roles:
LEWIS - Male, age 60-70. A man grieving the recent loss of his beloved wife, Joan. Afraid of life without Joan and determined to keep her presence in his heart. Unkempt and in despair, Lewis finds new energy in pursuing the memory of Joan and their happiness together. Lewis appears in present day (2024) and in the Here After.
JOAN - Female, age 60-70. A devoted wife who has recently passed on to the Here After. Appears as an ethereal presence to encourage her beloved husband, Lewis. Graceful, loving, radiant smile. Always wears bright red lipstick. Joan appears in the Here After.
YOUNG LEWIS - Male, age 25. A young man deeply in love with his sweetheart, Young Joan. Affectionate, filled with energy and happiness. Young Lewis appears in memories of the past (1964), as a reflection through time to present-day Lewis (2024), and in the Here After.
YOUNG JOAN - Female, age 25. A young woman filled with tenderness and care for her sweetheart, Young Lewis. Graceful, loving, radiant smile. Always wears bright red lipstick. Young Joan appears in memories of the past (1964), as a reflection through time to present-day Lewis (2024), and in the Here After.
Synopsis:
LEWIS is grieving the recent loss of his beloved wife, JOAN, after sharing a life of happiness together. In Lewis’ dreams, reflections of himself and Joan as young sweethearts appear, and Lewis is granted a brief visit with Joan’s presence in the Here After.
