Job Description:
We are seeking responsible, engaged students to join our Post Production Audio team at BYU Broadcasting.
Responsibilities:
Audio production for television shows and promos as well as Radio Podcasts and Audio Dramas:
Mixing in Pro Tools for Stereo and 5.1 Surround
Dialogue Editing and Mixing
Music Editing
Sound Design - Creating and editing sound effects with picture.
Engineering recording sessions for voice over (setting up microphones, headphones, etc.)This is a great opportunity for any student who hopes to have a future in film/TV audio, and/or music recording/mixing. We would require 15 to 20 hours per week on the job.
Job Qualifications:
Experience recording/editing in Pro Tools preferred (or other DAW)
General understanding of audio principles preferred (microphones, signal flow, Digital Audio Workstations, etc.)
Attention to detail (sonically and visually).
Teachable and able to take feedback and incorporate changes to improve their work
Desired future career in audio preferred
