DoGood Theater is seeking a skilled and experienced Stage Manager (or someone eager to learn) to join our team for the summer season production of either or both "Bandstand" and "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat". This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and passionate team, bringing two iconic musical productions to life on stage.
Responsibilities:
•Coordinate and oversee all stage management aspects of the productions, including rehearsals, performances, and backstage operations.
•Collaborate closely with directors, designers, and technical crew to ensure smooth execution of the productions.
•Create and maintain rehearsal schedules, production calendars, and contact lists.
•Manage backstage crew and ensure smooth transitions during performances.
•Oversee the set-up and strike of stage elements, props, and costumes.
•Act as a liaison between cast, crew, and production team members.
Schedule:
Rehearsals for Joseph: May - July
Performances: July 27-29
Rehearsals for Bandstand: May - August
Performances: August 17-24
