Honored Alumni Lecture

We are looking forward to our upcoming Homecoming week highlighting CFAC performing groups in the opening ceremony, an honored alumni lecture from the Department of Art: Kristen Applebee and performances by the Department of Dance’s Ballroom Dance Company.

The opening ceremony, taking place at 11am on Tuesday, October 11th in the Marriott Center will feature groups from our college, including Living Legends and the marching band.

On Thursday, October 13th at 11am in the Madsen Recital Hall, HFAC, there will be an honored alumni lecture featuring Kristen Applebee. She graduated with a BFA from Brigham Young University and is currently in her 10th year of teaching Art at Georgia Academy for the Blind, and is the co-director for Wesleyan College’s Center for the Arts Summer Intensive.

The Ballroom Dance Company will also be performing “Come Alive” on Friday, October 14th at 7:30pm and Saturday, October 15th at 2pm and 7:30pm in the RB Dance Performance Theatre. Tickets available here.
