Biography
Megan Sanborn Jones is the chair of the Department of Theatre and Media Arts, and a professor of theatre. She has published work in Theatre Journal, Theatre Topics, Theatre History Studies, Mormon Studies Review, BYU Studies, Ecumenica, and more. She has published two books: Performing American Identity in Anti-Mormon Melodrama (Routledge) and Contemporary Mormon Pageantry: Seeking After Our Dead (University of Michigan Press.) She was most recently seen in a BYU Devotional entitled “Will You Be My Neighbor?” Megan is the producer of the award-winning BYU Theatre season. She is also a director/choreographer with credits at BYU including Princess Academy, Travesties, Much Ado About Nothing, and Everyone. Megan and her husband, Glen Jones, are the happy parents of Cohen (16) and Eden (13).
