Biography
Megan Sanborn Jones is the chair of the Department of Theatre and Media Arts, and a professor of theatre. She has published work in Theatre Journal, Theatre Topics, Theatre History Studies, Mormon Studies Review, BYU Studies, Ecumenica, and more. She has published two books: Performing American Identity in Anti-Mormon Melodrama (Routledge) and Contemporary Mormon Pageantry: Seeking After Our Dead (University of Michigan Press.) Megan is the producer of the award-winning BYU Theatre season and the film festivals Final Cut and First Look . She is also a director/choreographer with credits at BYU including Princess Academy, Travesties, and Much Ado About Nothing. Megan and her husband, Dr. Glen Jones, are the happy parents of two teenagers.
