Jordan was born in West Hills, California and raised in Richfield, Utah. He served a mission in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and later graduated from Brigham Young University in General Studies with a Management emphasis. While at BYU, he was a Donald Sloan public speaking scholarship winner, a Sperry Symposium award recipient, and President of the BYU Rotaract Club. He has performed in various local musicals and student films, and also spent time in Chicago as both a professional performing artist and producer for various film and stage productions. He loves reading, basketball, soccer, and being with his wonderful family and friends.
