Job Description:
BYU Broadcasting is looking for a Postproduction Editing PA (production assistant) to assist in media creation and quality control for BYU TV. This person must have a great attitude, some video editing skills, willing to work with teams, and have passion and the excitement of producing TV content. This position is part of an editorial training track that teach media quality analysis, social media creation, promotional editing, and assist in longer form broadcast media. This position can be artistic, creative, and rewarding to the right person.
Job Qualifications:
The Video Editing P.A. for BYU Broadcasting should have some experience editing video. They should also have some experience editing videos for people other than themselves. It is important the Video Editing P.A. be reliable, on time, a problem solver, flexible, able to deal with change and have an attention to detail. We are willing to train the right individual who shows a willingness to learn and a passion for media creation.
Logistical Details:
Part time: up to 20 hours a week. Must have regular and consistent attendance at scheduled shift.
