I'm casting for a student capstone Google Maps spec and in need of a FEMALE ACTOR and a MALE ACTOR.
PREMISE: A "what could've been" story of a boy working through a mundane, frustrated life and stumbling upon a life-changing moment. Feels strange, warm, romantic, offbeat.
VIBE: Dry, awkward, absurd humor played completely straight. Not slapstick or overacted; the comedy comes from weird characters, uncomfortable conversations, subtle reactions, and awkward pauses.
(GIRL: Confident, magnetic, put-together.)
(BOY: Casual, sincere, slightly insecure and awkward, yet approachable. You’d expect to read him like a book at first-glance, making his unveiling of character more engaging.)
We're shooting across three days, 4-6 hours each, tentatively. Dates are October 27, November 5, November 9.
