Profile
Teresa Dayley Love has experienced over twenty five years of directing, writing, producing, and teaching TYA. She is a founding partner of two L.A. based TYA/TIE companies. Imagination Company, founded with Tom Provenzano, reached over four million in audience during her tenure as Artistic Director, 1984-2000. Created in 2001 with partners Marie Olson, Chip Bent, and Jere Jon, Open Window Entertainment has produced over 1500 performances. Currently a Professional Development Partner with the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program, BYU Region, as an arts educator Teresa has consulted, taught, and/or written curriculum for All the Arts for All the Kids, the Children’s Museum of Los Angeles, the Provo Integrated Arts Project, and the USOE. Fifty of the plays for young audiences Teresa has written have been produced. Teresa writes and directs for BYU’s Young Company (see CV for plays). Teresa is married to circus/variety artist and elementary school educator Matthew Love, and they are the parents of two children.
