Student Financial Aid Opportunities
The Theatre and Media Arts department provides a variety of financial aid opportunities for its students. Merit scholarships, the Fulton grant, Outstanding Student award, and other funding are available to students.
An assistantship is an award granted to students who assist professors with their research or teaching responsibilities. Assistants are paid a stipend in exchange for the tasks they perform for the department.
The department is the beneficiary of endowment funds set aside by generous donors. Periodically, there are enough funds that can be utilized to enhance and sustain student scholarships and mentoring; faculty research, creative work, and/or professional development; and guest artists and professional visits.
