Masks of Transformation: Leather and Paper-Mache Mask Making and Performance
To ACTORS and DESIGNERS, and EVERYONE ELSE interested in the power of how an inanimate object (like a mask) comes to life in performance: this forum is for you. Adam Houghton spent July to December creating masks, performing in masks, and researching masks. In this forum he will share his experiences designing masks, working with mask materials and tools, and learning traditional mask performance practices. He will share many photos of the processes and display the masks he made.
