A NOTE (AND INVITATION) FROM THE CHAIR

Dear Students,

For Christmas this year, we gifted mini Christus statues to each of you with a note inviting you to find a place for Jesus in your home.  We hoped that where ever you set him would be a daily reminder that He is our Savior, our Redeemer, and in very real ways, our friend.  Because not every student came to pick their statue up, last week in our All-Forum, we made sure everyone had received their own and mentioned an upcoming challenge we would be having for Valentine's Day.

Since today is Valentine's Day, a holiday that helps us reflect on the love of our Savior, I want to see how your statue has helped you! Please send me a photo (tma@byu.edu) and a short summary of where you have put your statue, and how it has reminded you of Christ. I can't wait to read how this statue has touched your life, and can't wait to share those with other students, staff, and faculty.

Love,
Megan

A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN (1945)

This week we are featuring A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN (1945) this THURSDAY at 3pm in the Library Auditorium. Love

This is a drama film about an Irish-American family loving in Brooklyn around the turn of the last century. It marks the debut of director Elia Kazan. Kazan was a director drawn to sensitive social issues, class, race, poverty, and was hailed as a talent in working with actors.

Come see the film on celluloid and talk through some history! Don't miss out!

Dean Duncan is looking for an RA, and he wants you (maybe)!
