BYU's Music Dance Theatre Program Features Tunes From Hit Musicals in Broadway Revue

The performance will celebrate the human experience with some of Broadway's most impactful songs

Students in BYU's Music Dance Theatre (MDT) program will take campus audiences through some of the most beloved moments in musical theatre history when Broadway Revue runs April 4-5.

The variety show, which shares a title with the lively "Bye Bye Birdie" tune "A Lot of Livin'to Do," will feature fun and inspiring songs from "Ragtime," "Aida," "Funny Girl" and other hit musicals.

"Broadway Revue is a show that involves some of our most dedicated Music Dance Theater majors here at BYU," said Korianne Orton, the faculty mentor over the performance. "It gives the students a chance to share with audiences what the program is about and the teamwork it takes to put on each and every show."

The show is completely student-run, with direction by Taft Robinson and Dayne Joyner, music direction by Daniel Wallentine and choreography by Meg Flinders with the help of Anna Tanner and other MDT majors.
