Young Soon Kim's play, Love’s Promise, which she originally wrote and performed here at BYU, was recently produced as an Off-Broadway play. She was fortunately able to direct the play herself and she credits the BYU faculty for her success.

Graduated 1998
After graduation Dana had planned to go on and get an advanced degree in theatre with an emphasis in playwriting but life, of course, got in the way. She married John Norton in 1999 and moved to Southern California soon afterward. She has drifted away from the theatre scene but is slowly trying to inch back in. She is now raising a daughter, expecting another and is trying to get some of her fiction published. Okay let's be honest, she sends her stuff out about once a year, gets busy with life then makes another half hearted attempt several months later. But really, she is very happy. Even if the whole writer thing doesn't work out, she has a wonderful family, great in-laws and good friends. (And an excellent command of Microsoft Word and Excel if anyone needs a top notch administrative assistant!)
