General Info Welcome! This portion of our website is designed to provide current and prospective students helpful information about the academic programs at the Department of Theatre and Media Arts. Here is a brief overview of the information contained on this portion of our site:
The TMA Dept. recognizes that many people from outside disciplines have a love for theatre and film and we try our best to accommodate them. This portion of the website will give you information about classes that are open to non-majors. Additionally, non-majors are welcome to audition for plays or help with stage management. Non-majors are also welcome to help with film productions. This page will outline all of the information available on these productions and other related opportunities.
Every year there are a few study abroad programs that are sponsored by the TMA Dept. If you would like information about these programs, come to this portion of the website.
On the left menu there are links to information about our four different undergraduate theatre programs that are offered through the TMA Dept. In this portion of our site, you'll be able to explore each of the four programs in more depth. It contains descriptions of each of the programs, information about course requirements and recommendations, and more.
If you are interested in an undergraduate degree in Media Arts, check out the links on the left menu which describe the two undergraduate media arts programs. Here you'll be able to explore the programs and the different tracks of emphasis in more depth. This portion of the site contains program and emphasisdescriptions, information about course requirements and recommendations, and more.
Minors in TMA can be a wonderful complement to any degree. The TMA Dept. offers three minors. Access the links on the left menu to learn information about these programs.
This portion of the site contains information about applying to each of the different undergraduate and graduate programs that are offered through the TMA Dept. Here you can come to find information about application procedures, check deadlines, and obtain application forms.
Need ideas on funding your education? A theatre or film project you're working on? This portion of the site contains helpful information about sources of financial aid.
If you're having troubles registering for a course or would like an explanation of when courses are offered, this portion of the site will answer all your questions. This site provides answers for frequently asked questions about registration and flags, course offerings, etc.
